Basic Effective Strategies to Transform You into your BEST You!


BESTYou is a 6-week in-home Chronic Disease Self-Management Program that introduces basic life strategies and tools to interested individuals that are trying to make a change for the better. With one session a week for six weeks, the program allows you to get together with friends, neighbors and/or family members to enjoy good (FREE) food as well as meaningful group discussions and activities that center around good lifestyle behaviors.

Each session is run by group leaders who are trained to educate and discuss topics such as reading a food label, how to talk to your healthcare providers, effective communication and problem solving, meal planning, stress management, cheap and easy ways to exercise, financial accountability and budgeting, and many more. All of these topics are a part of a “toolkit” that BESTYou believes everyone has a right to understand and hopefully use in their everyday life. The proper understanding and use of this “toolkit” will then allow those who are living with chronic diseases and/or loved ones of those who are living with chronic diseases an opportunity to make better lifestyle choices that will then lead to the better management of those conditions.

BESTYou is recruiting interested individuals to “host” the 6 sessions in a facility of their choosing—whether it’s their home, a church, clinic or a community center… We bring the course to you! BESTYou can also be brought to your clinic or organization. We will gladly bring this program to your clients at your facility or to your staff during their lunch hour!
